SELGREN for COMMISSIONER

Committed to Caring Leadership, Affordability and Safety

Dedicated to Community Involvement

Hello Larimer County! I’m Erick Selgren and I am running for County Commissioner for District 2.

I bring both professional expertise and leadership skills to this position. I will work to balance the budget and minimize financial burdens on the citizens of Larimer County. I have spent many hours talking with Larimer County citizens, and affordability is the most important issue they are concerned about. Citizens cannot afford housing that works for their family and other basic needs because of the high cost of living.

I have a bachelor’s degree in business. Most of my career has been working in government – Water Treatment for Larimer County, Air Force veteran, Western Area Power Administration, CSU College of Business, Larimer County, and Colorado State Forest Service. I‘m also a small business owner. My leadership experience comes from both work and volunteering. I have managed many budgets – government, small business, and volunteer organizations. I volunteered as a Boy Scout Committee Chairman, as a foster parent, with Larimer County Partners, and as a kids coach for multiple sports. I’m a husband, dad, and grandpa. I have lived in Larimer County over 50 years.

As a Larimer County Commissioner, I will provide caring leadership to address affordability and safety for the citizens of Larimer County. After speaking with people from all walks of life, they have made it clear that they need affordability and safety, especially in low-income neighborhoods. I plan to continue traveling throughout Larimer County to listen to the people and hear what they have to say. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to me through email. With my education and professional experience working in government, I’m ready to make common sense changes to improve the quality of life in Larimer County. I look forward to building on the past success of previous commissioners. It will be an honor to serve as your County Commissioner. Thank you for your vote!
